In my previous post, (EASIEST WAY TO UNDERSTAND ESSAY )I tend to help us understand the various types of essay, and how it can be approached with ease. You need to really understand writing is more than just an hobby. There is no right way to write, I totally agree; but that doesn’t mean your writing shouldn’t appeal to human sense. You are not expected to write foolishly. How to write a good essay has been peoples cry for a while now. Well you are in the right place, as I am going to show you how to do that.
1. FIND YOUR BEST SPOT
That particular palace in which you are at ease when you write. Or you can say that particular place where writing really interests you. Sometimes, you get more inspiration in your dining table, or outside your house. How about in the kitchen? The important thing is to find where best suit you.
2. REFLECT ON ISSUES THAT INTEREST YOU
I wrote a poem sometimes back titled “I was here” how did it come about? I actually reflected back to the past issues which were interesting to me, which were my childhood days. There are certain issues which you remember, and it stirs up your writing spirit. As a writer, I often say: ALWAYS WRITE WITH THE WORLD. In other words, anything that triggers you can make your essay more clear and understandable.
3. CRITICAL THINKING
As a writer, if you can’t think, then you haven’t started writing. Your mind must be sharp and creative. When your brain is dormant, you tend to develop writers block gradually (CLICK HERE TO SEE WHY YOU CAN’T WRITE). Stop saying you are tired, you only lack ideas.
4. READ ALL THE TIME
5. WRITE FROM RAGE
Sometimes, you are asked to write an essay which should be submitted the next day in school. You are tired as you cannot write a better essay; because of limited time. Why not write from rage. Some poets in the 80s had one problem or the other that expresses their desire to write something that will propel you and makes you angry enough. As I often say, writers are not normal with the pen. (CLICK HERE TO KNOW HOW TO WRITE POEMS).
Ever heard of the word that says: show don’t tell? Well here it is. People easily respond to anything they can picture. A picture is more speaks than a thousand words. Sometimes, you might see a tree, and you decide to write about nature. Or a wind and you decide to writer about a storm.
